I had a decent stay at the resort, with clean and updated accommodations that provided a pretty good experience overall. The location is fantastic, close to Denali National Park with stunning views surrounding the property. While I enjoyed the amenities and the beautiful landscaping, the dining options were quite pricey, and I encountered some issues during check-in that could be improved. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking to explore the park.

The McKinley Chalet Resort is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area, providing stunning natural scenery that truly enhances the stay. The accommodations in the newly opened Ridgeview complex were quite comfortable, although the resort can feel a bit soulless at times due to its sheer size and limited staff presence. Additionally, the location provides a good shuttle service into Denali National Park, making excursions easy. However, the experience was marred by a lack of organization when it comes to baggage handling, which caused confusion during our arrival and departure.

We stayed in the Ridgeview complex, and the room was large, comfortable, and well-equipped.
Service

The service was hit or miss; while the shuttle service was efficient, the lack of staff presence in our remote block led to some inconveniences.

The resort offers a decent experience but falls short in several areas. While the location is ideal for accessing Denali Park and the staff does their best to be helpful, the overall facilities and dining options leave much to be desired, making it a bit overpriced for what you get.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms are clean yet basic, lacking WiFi and some essential amenities like a fridge or microwave. Shower space is cramped, which is not ideal.
Service
6.0
Although the staff is friendly and does their best under pressure, organization during arrival and departure was chaotic.

The resort is conveniently located just outside Denali National Park, allowing easy access to park activities.
Dining

Dining options are limited and overpriced, especially the breakfast, which was disappointing for the price.
Facilities

Overall, my stay at McKinley Chalet Resort was enjoyable with beautiful surroundings and a convenient setup for excursions. The room was spacious and well-equipped, which was a definite plus. However, I encountered some issues with the dining experience, as certain restaurant options were limited. While I appreciated the clean facilities and the picturesque environment, I felt that the staff's responsiveness could use some improvement.
Rooms

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious with a nice layout, having a mini-suite feel that included a sitting area. I appreciated the good water pressure in the shower, but the bathroom was a bit cramped for larger individuals.
